When Mierna is tasked with finding a very rare flower in order to break the spell on her sister, she's transformed into the tiniest of faeries in order to see it: the Dewdrop Faerie. They come out in the wee hours of the morning when the first rays of sun shine upon dew collecting on the leaves of plants. They feed off this dew, as it gives them the energy to fly. Otherwise, they stay hidden from things that would love to feed off them.
